They charged me for three hours labor on a job that I know only took 30 minutes (installing a new fuel pump on a mini cooper.) I know it only takes 30 minutes because I had to re-do it myself later, as there was a related problem with my fuel filter assembly (which they should have caught) so I had to go back in and take out the fuel pump when I replaced the fuel filter myself and the entire job took me less than 40 minutes, and I'm no professional mechanic, not even close. The only reason I took it there to begin with was because they were near where I broke down and I thought it would be easier to have them take care of it rather than figure out how to do it myself. Big mistake. I know a mechanic has to make a living and that they use estimates of time when quoting, but charging me $300 labor for something so simple that only takes 30 minutes is just wrong. I won't ever be back. I give them two stars instead of one because it was 118 degrees out and they were swamped, so maybe they were having a bad day, but that doesn't change the fact that I know I was overcharged.
