  • I've bounced through a dozen or so Mexican places looking for the same good authentic-style stuff I grew up with in San Diego. Cafe Rio now has my once-a-week "Mexican-fix" business. I'd have popped them 5 stars if the staff were just a bit more consistent. But, having owned a restaurant myself I understand the challenges. Overall... I am amazed at the great-tasting food from a chain (usually you only get this at a mom-n-pop)...
