| - Now, I usually don't write reviews, but my experience was so bad, I needed to vent. Lol.
This place is literally "get what you pay for." If it weren't for that $4.99 coupon, I wouldn't have gone. Sometimes, I feel like even if it was $5, it's not even worth it. Regular haircuts at $13 is a total rip off.
I came in hoping to browse through their hair style books, but I didn't see any. They only had regular magazines. Seriously? What kinda barber place not have hair style catalogs?!
I was prepared to give them a picture I had on my phone & when I showed the lady cutting my hair, she glanced at it for 2 seconds, started cutting my hair & never asked to look at the picture again. C'mon! At least study the picture & use it as a reference....
Sure, maybe she's only used to quick haircuts, but she should at least take her time cutting. There became a point where she got fed up with me telling her how I wanted my hair where she stopped asking me if it was ok. Honestly, by this point, I just wanted to leave already. By the end, she was like, "Ok. You're done." & I was like, "You're seriously NOT gonna ask me if the cut is ok?" She didn't even try to engage in a conversation with me to make me feel welcome. She also did a horrible job cleaning the hair off my neck.
I don't know who cut my hair because she didn't even introduce herself, but it was some skinny lady with wavy, black hair. Avoid her. She's hella rude.
Note to self: never go to a white place to get an Asian haircut. Leave it to the experts in Chinatown. Lol.
