So let's get straight to it! I came here on a Friday night as a walk in about an hr to close and was able to get in for a fill and a pedicure! The location was cool it's located next to the DLC just before Craig and Simmons. The shop was pretty, it looked clean and to me that's really important for a salon!
At entry, Peter clear across the shop gets up to meet me asking what I wanted ( quick side note: I really can't stand when your expected to shout across the room what your looking for... so I don't! I simply walk up to the person and make my requests known) and I let him know. Moving forward, Peter wasn't really talkative, in fact he was slightly responsive, and to be frank not too inviting as I'm used to at 99% of the shops I visit. Overall, he did a nice job on my nails, but decided to skip out on a detail in the end until I reminded him and he says he thought I didn't want it. Which I felt was odd being I'd showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted. From that moment the tone declined even more which was not pleasant. The last thing you want to feel is that your nail tech isn't happy.
Onto the pedicure. Peters wife, Cathy, did my pedicure. She was kind and much more talkative than Peter! She had the water nice and hot like I liked and did my pedicure as expected. My only down is when I got home I noticed my feet are not smooth on the heels. They're scratchy and scratchy isn't sexy in the bedroom! Not that I needed them because I get my dogs done every two weeks, but I wasn't even offered callus remover if that was the case. Now I'm going to have to scrub my own heels and that's not easy at 6 months pregnant.
Unpleasant tech -1*
Crusty heels-1*
I'd say my experience was too hot and cold to recommend right away. Maybe a new tech and day! Good luck ladies!
