  • I returned to SoftMoc with the hope of better service then a few nights earlier. I did manage to get a sales girl who was more willing to walk me through the paces this time, pun intended. She helped me find a pair of moccasins that would suit my indoor needs. But overall I was still disappointed. This was not what I came in for. So many shoes were not available in my size, not even for order. The moccasins were pretty but shedding profusely... Yes it's rabbit fur but wow. I would say most styles were drab and unoriginal. And worst of all, there were very few winter shoes. The sales staff admitted they mostly stick to fall shoes and the store has no plans to order more winter shoes in the foreseeable future. Not the dressy kind nor the buckle-down-and-get-home/safe variety. No need for winter shoes? In Canada? Interesting concept. I RECOMMEND- only going to SoftMoc for moccasins and uggs EXTRA TIP- signing up for their contact list will get you 10% on your next trip but prepare to be email bombed by the time you take your new shoes out of their box (and repeatedly thereafter).
