  • I had been looking for a decent, and rare, Monte Cristo sandwich since arriving in LV. It took me a couple of years to follow up on reports it existed at Lou's Diner before finally getting there today to check for myself. Happily, I discovered it does indeed exist there! The sandwich was nicely stuffed with ingredients, fried just so, came with the necessary raspberry jam, and tasted great! My french fries were nothing special but good, and I'm told the coleslaw was good. Wait service was excellent. We'll be back to check other options at Lou's as well as to revisit their Monte Cristo.
