  • I'll start off with the good, and the only reason I kept from a one star review. The employees, especially at the deli counter and hot food area, are very nice and always accommodating. Also the bakery is great. Now for the bad. Every time I shop here I come home with expired food, or items that show no expiration date and have been sitting for way too long (Like the assorted Baklava desserts I had to return today). For me to shop here with confidence I need to spend another 30 minutes just looking at expiration dates to verify that I'm not buying bad food. I live in Marley Park and would love to support my local market, but its hard to when the stock is not kept up in the same standard as every other market I have ever been to. I was even warned by an employee once to "always check the dates cause stuff is expired all the time here". That's bad when an employee tells you that. Sorry Bashas, but I have to take my business elsewhere from now on.
