  • After searching online and reading reviews, I decided to go with Marcella. I don't trust people touching my hair, let alone trimming or applying heat. However, her reviews were fantastic (and we know how hard it is to please so many people). Well, those reviews did not disappoint. SHE IS AMAZING!! I came in for a shampoo, flat iron, and trim. From the moment I arrived, Marcella was professional, kind, and attentive. I was the only client she was dealing with. She took a look at my hair before washing to ensure my hair was detangled before starting. As a natural, I do appreciate that step. We talked while she shampooed my hair, and she popped me under the dryer for a deep conditioning treatment. Afterwards, it was rinsed out and she proceeded to blow dry my hair. She took her time and didn't rake through my hair. When she pressed it, she didn't burn me or my hair. I admit I was a bit anxious when she pulled out the scissors to trim my hair. I've had some bad experiences with stylists who get scissor happy. So she gave me a mirror and showed me exactly how she was going to trim it. (Thank you!) She did an amazing job! My hair was soft, had body, and felt light. She took her time and made me feel at ease. Plus, my man loved the surprise and couldn't stop playing with my hair! The ONLY downside, she is going on maternity leave! =[ I finally found an amazing stylist and she'll be gone. She did offer to email over her recommendations while she was on leave. Thank you so much Marcella! You have a great vibe and personality. You are so talented with natural hair. I wish you and your husband a beautiful, blessed pregnancy! Let me know when you're back to doing hair! =]
