JUST WALKED OUT OF THIS PLACE AFTER BEING DEGRADED BY A TATTOO ARTIST! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
First of all this is a tourist trap tattoo shop in the most expensive retail space in Vegas so expect to pay 3-4 times what you would pay elsewhere. A traditional shop will charge around $100-$120/hr. Keep that in mind when they quote you $400+.
I have over 10 tats already and wanted to get a large one on my back. I stop into this overpriced joke of a tattoo shop and start looking through the computer monitors for ideas. I find one I like and I take a pic of it to text to my girlfriend to see if she likes it and also ask her to meet me at the shop.
The next thing I know one of their tattoo artists, who is working on a client, puts the tat equipment down and walks over to me. Complete with condescending and degrading attitude says "SIR, DO NOT TAKE PICS OF THE SCREEN". Then continues to stare me down with direct eye contact and a few seconds later "THANK YOU" again with the same attitude and then keeps staring me down.
Everyone in the shop was looking at me. Totally humiliating.
If they have such a policy they can ask me in a polite way. Wouldn't it have been better to ask nicely "Excuse me sir we have a policy about taking pictures in here would you mind not using your phone, thanks". But no - I was borderline threatened.
I can't even believe how they treated a potential customer.
So I walked right out and guess what I did next... SPENT MY MONEY AT THEIR COMPETITOR.
