We loved this place. It was across the street from the hotel we stayed in and we needed a hearty breakfast that didn't cost as much as our hotel room.
It was a grungy place inside and out, but that only adds to the experience. The plates, cups, cooking areas, etc were all clean.
I got the Greek omelette and substituted the toast & home fires with the French toast. My girlfriend got scrambled eggs with turkey sausage, hash browns, and French toast. The food was awesome. Especially the French toast. The coffee was typical for a diner, nothing to write home about.
The staff was very attentive and even the cook hollered over to make sure we liked the food.
Next time my family and I are downtown and in need of a good breakfast we'll know where to stop.
*** I would only recommend that they use paper place mats since the tables weren't the nicest ***
