  • Only giving this hotel 2 stars because the casino & front desk staff are awesome. I guess they have to be knowing that this hotel is a complete dump!! First night sleeping in the bed and I was bit up by some type of bug all over the back of my legs and buttocks. Woke up itching like hell and in pain. Went downstairs to speak with the manager and she immediately upgraded our room to the "mini" suite. Room was still a dump with a fridge and coffee maker but no bugs found so I was contempt with that. Anyway on to the next issue, the bingo game is a set up. If you decide to play bingo, don't get the paper game. Spring the extra few dollars for the electronic game because only those machines win. Finally upon leaving, they offer free transportation to the airport but u have to sign up 24hrs in advance. We signed up properly and were the third & fourth names on the list. We were the last to arrive at the shuttle, about 10mins before it was scheduled to depart. The driver loaded our luggage and asked which airline we were going to. After telling him, he advised us to sit in the front of the van. After everyone loaded into the shuttle again we were the last ones to get on. The driver then told us that he didn't have room for us and someone must have over booked the list. He asked for our names and tried to make it seem like we were to ones who shouldn't be on the list. I pointed out our names and again he said we couldn't ride even though our names were the third and fourth on the list. I advised him that it wasn't our fault that someone overbooked and we shouldn't be the ones left behind because of our position on the list. He says he will get the other driver to drop us off but we couldn't ride the shuttle. He took our luggage out the back and then went to get the other driver. This guy never once apologized on behalf of the hotel or for being a rude prick. I went inside and spoke with the manager and she apologized for the inconvenience and arranged for a private drop off in their Escalade. If I ever decide to stay in old Vegas again, it will be at the Golden Nugget. The Plaza is worse then Motel 6.
