  • Id actually give them a zero rating!!! Are these people serious??? Im a girl but Im no idiot when it comes to cars! I called via phone yesterday as I was interested in a 2003 car they had advertised for $3,995 on Craigslist. After speaking to "Jim" about the car he said he'd make sure it was still there & call me back with details. The sales man Jim Younger, calls me back to let me know the price was wrong and it was $4995 but if I came in 'today' they'd honor the cheaper price AND that $2000 in work was just done on the car friday so the price was raised to $4995...Ive got the voice mail to prove it! I went in to see the car that evening and I liked it. I offered to buy it for $3,500 and was told NO we only do $1,000 increments WTF??? So I said great I'll give you $3,000! Of course that was a no. I asked Lateesha the new salesperson who took this on (as Jim had left me at the car upon my arrival but not before he mentioned $3995 but only if i buy right now RED FLAG!) to show me the work that was done on it based on the voice mail Jim had left me about the price increase. She couldn't find anything other than a car wash & detail, cup holder replacement and the window was fixed. The other work order was in service and they were closed so she couldn't get it. SOOO Andre (Black man) came in. I believe he was the manager for used cars. He wanted to blab about nothing that made any sense (They have to keep the lights on?!) when all I wanted to see was the work they had done on the car to warrant the $1,000 increase which I was willing to come back to view. After all, this car according to my own research was not worth their asking price even of $3995...I felt and still do feel that $3,500 is a fair price markup for something they took in at trade for probably $1,200. So after getting no where with any of these people I said I'll converse tomorrow and you can tell me what was done to the car so I know if Im interested in buying it for $3995 (Albeit Jim said BUY IT NOW OR PAY MORE) Lateesha said she would call me tomorrow and I went home. No one called. Jump to today..I called and spoke to David who seemed nice. Said he'd check into the repairs on this car and call me back. Instead he had Mr Wonderful (Jim Younger) call me back who proceeded to start an argument with me, first on the price of the car. I had no interest in arguing, I simply wanted to know the work that was done on the car on Friday for $2,000 that he left in the voice mail to me yesterday (Sunday). He became rude and argumentative & couldn't answer my question stating that he didn't know. I said if the car was worked on in your shop there should be record of what was done..he proceeded to voice his anger that they don't tell them what they've done to the cars in their shop. COME ON!! I DIDNT FALL OFF THE TURNIP BOAT YESTERDAY!!! It sounded to me like they wanted more for the car and that nothing had been done to it. In one brief moment Jim even said "Nothing has been done to the car"...Ok then, why lie to me about it? Do you need customers that bad? It is my firm opinion that these people are slime bags. I had a friend with me when I looked at the car and they mentioned they thought this place was not doing me any justice and thought they were shysters #1 based on the immediate price increase & #2 because they conveniently couldn't find a work order for the car & #3 their attitude and lack of respect for me as a potential customer! My friend has NO idea what just now took place on the phone with Jim. I will NEVER return to this dealership or Auto Nation groups EVER. I OBVIOUSLY will tell my friends and my community to look elsewhere as this is why many people don't like used car salespeople. They get a bad rap for a reason, BECAUSE THEY OFTEN DESERVE IT!!! Power Nissan of Tempe AZ lost a potential customer..I could have been a happy buyer but for their greed over $500, their clear lack of respect and their lies...THEIR LOSS! I'll take my money elsewhere! Theres plenty of cars for sale in Arizona!
