You want a sub from Sub so you can eat your sub from Sub in a sub?
That's pretty much sums up the experience at this quirky submarine-themed convenience store at the bottom of the Luna apartments.
The place is very funny - it looks like the set of a children's TV show from twenty years ago. It's also extra convenient for all the law, education, med and science students stuck midway up the Mont-Royal, with pretty much no other food option aside from the ever-expensive cafeterias. You can get cheap coffee and muffins, as well as ramen, frozen meals and all kinds of treats and junk food from Couche-Tard. Prices can be expensive because they know you won't trek up and down Peel street just for some dish soap - but watch out for their special prices. They're pretty good sometimes! They also sell some kitchen essentials for the mostly student population in the apartment block above. It's not uncommon to see a sleepy-looking undergrad in sweatpants and slippers grab a pack of beef jerky before disappearing through the back door. The Subway inside the Couche-Tard provides fresh and cheap food, as always. The owner is quite nice. He sometimes gives students a free cookie - it mostly happens to girls though.
