I live in the neighborhood of this Walmart, and let me tell ya since this place has opened our neighborhood has been filled with shopping carts and added foot traffic (i.e. folks jumping over fences to reach the Walmart faster or see an opportunity to check out a neighbor's home.). Easy fixes could be made to these problems, that the store is more than aware of.
This Walmart is new and refreshing - especially when it comes to food. I chalk up the newness as well for customer service opportunities. I have waited with no response or a majorly delayed response in the sports/electronic sections. Check-out employees could learn how to bag items versus talking about how much I am spending! I have walked out with so many bags with one item in it or so many items that made no sense as to why they were grouped together (ex: OTC meds and fresh leaking produce).
My favorite employee I have ran into so far works in the cleaning/pet section near the food (I so wish I could remember this gentleman's name). Not only did he know everything that was in his isles he was responsible for, but I had a question outside of his area and he got me what I needed. When preparing for Thanksgiving, I needed all the help I could get. Now asking for Apple Cider juice (not vinegar) - I wish he was around because two employees could not find it...and then I found it on my own.
I do plan to try their curbside ordering for groceries...
I give this Walmart the benefit of the doubt with room for improvement - 4 stars.
