My daughter and I were visiting Charlotte and happened upon this great Irish pub in downtown Charlotte. Easy to miss, it's located on what I call a half street that offers an arrangement of different cultural delights.
Barry, the owner, kept the conversation lively with his natural Irish accent. The pub was relatively quiet on our first visit earlier in the afternoon but when we revisited the pub later in the day, it was bustling with lively talk from guests of various backgrounds and we found ourselves wanting to stay the entire night. (Notice that we re-visited in the same day....it was that perfect).
Due to a pressing college project, we had to leave earlier than desired. This pub has the perfect mix of great beer, welcoming attitude, long wooden bar, and lively conversation. An extra thing that you get with this pub is owner pride as it's well- stocked and "clean", which is hard to find. I would definitely make a point of revisiting this pub on any future Charlotte visits.
Best wishes to Barry and his team!
