  • Okay, so, Ive been doing business with Peoria Nissan since 2013 and have purchased three vehicles from them, whether they be new or used they have always gone out of their way to help. The visit before last they had some sort of hot dog cookout going on and fed my family. That was two years ago... not sure if management has changed but... I was researching a new/used truck on their website, a Titan preferably, filled out the personal contact info section and was given a call from Greg Reiner, the internet sales manager/fleet manager/blah blah blah. Not sure exactly how true his story was. He informs me that the truck I was looking at was available and I could come down to see it. I set up a time, informed the misses and headed down there with one of my four children, dropped the rest off at grandmothers so we could negotiate properly. As soon as I showed up I got that vibe, you know, when you realized someone is being dooshy and acts like you're taking up their time. I thought "Greg's a manager, no biggy they all are kinda like that". Toughed it out, looked at the truck and didn't like it. He seemed frustrated. I told him look man, I've been here for three other vehicle purchases, I do not want to go anywhere else. He acted like he didn't even hear me. We test drove two more. The second one was awesome! Ran the numbers, negotiations started to heat up, then he came back from his "boss" and he then said, "sorry, this one's not for you, not gonna work, cant do the numbers." Turns out the 2014 Quest we bought two years ago that we paid off completely had come back to haunt us. He said that Nissan bank didn't know for sure if we had wrecked the van and paid it off with the insurance money, or we had legitimately paid it off. WOW. The interest rate was 18%! After three hours of looking at this guy he tries to sell us on two others I didnt want, the last he originally told me was so far out of my league that he would even tell me the friggin color! Absolutely refused! Woooooo, gets better though, then as we want to leave, my sons got homework to do, we haven't eaten in a long time he pulls up in that very truck! I leave, he says he'll "work" on the numbers, lying sack of you know what. I go home, find two other dealerships, one in Gilbert, similar story, you can read that one on the yelp review of mine for Autonation Chevrolet of Gilbert. The last dealer at the end of a long day turned out to be Bill Luke on Camelback, awesome service, awesome peeps, I'm a customer for life. They set me up with a Dodge Ram with an interest rate of 6.9%! Woooooo! Come on now Nissan... Peoria Nissan, once a good friend, but apparently me and my family aren't good enough for them now. Would've been my fourth purchase, oh well. Deuces
