For a seasonal shopper, my past two visits on this location has been disappointing.
My first time visit, it was hard to find an associate for help. It's like "Hunting for Red October ". And when you do, it's like bumping into your sore ex.
Today, I went to a register (shoe section) to check a card balance. There was no one in line so I was very happy. I initially greet them with a " good afternoon! ". No response. Just kept their head down hoping to pass their biology exam during their upcoming staff meeting. So, I replied back to myself "good afternoon to me too!".
Finally, they got back to their senses & took my card. As he was plugging in the numbers, a woman walked behind him & told him that I should be using the automated price check machine. I can feel his hesitation & grew a pair of cashew to pass on the information to me. I thank him & I told him it's good to know.
As I walked through the store, not one staff smiled or said "hi".
If it weren't for the gift cards, I don't have to be at this store.
Sadly, they have limited their human connection.
