My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary with another couple at Eddie's House last night. We reserved four lobsters for our dinner. The decor of the place is rustic and has family photos scattered all around the restaurant making you feel at home. The music that was playing in the background was The Doors, Jimi Hendrix and all the other oldies but goodies. We got a booth in the back of the restaurant which seemed very private even though the place is not that large. Our server Mark was very attentive an accommodating to my gluten allergy. The menu does not list what is safe for people with the allergy but Mark seemed to be knowledgeable and very helpful on some substitutions. Every time someone left the table Mark was there to fold the napkins which was a nice touch. We started with the spicy edamame that had this amazing soy based sauce. (Not sure if this really was GF because the sauce is made out of Soy Sauce which typically is not GF) but I did not seem to have issues. The lobsters (which is flown in daily) were very fresh and cooked so they were not rubbery. We added a steak to our meal for an extra charge. The steak was so tender that it melted in your mouth. I will be back here just for the steak the next time. Since we were celebrating our Anniversary we received a free dessert. Our dessert was a flour -less chocolate cake which was amazing. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it to others. The only reason I did not give the place a 5 star was for the ease of the menu for people with allergies. Thank you Mark!
