| - I joined EoS fitness in May and have enjoyed being a gym member there.
They have a yoga room which fits about 4 people comfortably (not including instructor). It's located in a side room off a hallway away from the main floor, which I love because it's quieter. And I like the smaller space bc I can actually see the instructor.
They also have a female only exercise, weight, and stretching room, which I Love! I go in there to stretch after my workouts and love the full length mirror and TV.
The group fitness room is nice too, though depending on the class it can get quite crowded. The instructors for the group classes are all awesome! (Except that some of the Zumba instructors are hit or miss). generally, the instructors are so enthusiastic, good at what they do, & genuinely want everyone to get a good workout while also telling you to pay attention to what your body is capable of doing (ie go at your own pace kinda thing). Some of my favorite classes are Insanity, body pump, and mixxedfit (it's like a Zumba plus).
The staff are friendly and helpful too. For about a month I wasn't going bc my schedule got really hectic, and I got a call from a trainer asking about my health/fitness etc. really surprised and it actually encouraged me to make time for working out again.
I don't lift, so my review of their equipment is only for the cardio. Their cardio equipment is pretty updated & clean. No complaints there.
The bathrooms are clean too. My only suggestion would be to have more private changing areas without having to go into the shower area. There are two sink areas which I like, and plenty of floor length mirrors for the vain like me! Also, only reason the bathroom smells is bc of the sauna / steam room which is in the bathroom yall!
I agree with some of the other reviewers in that the prices online are somewhat misleading (I signed up for the $15.95/month, but it came with a cancellation fee of $35). However, it's one of the few gyms in the area that don't have a year contract, so it's month to month which is perfect for me. Another thing that was misleading was that I shopped around online and saw that they had a seven day free trial, but when I went into the south location to sign up for that I was told there is no seven day membership. Anyways, that wasn't a deal breaker for me bc EoS fitness definitely has the lowest prices for gyms in the Henderson/Vegas area (lifetime fitness has a basketball court, but it's $100/month and you're locked in for a year).
When I signed up, Shawn was great and he helped sign me up & he was really upfront about their policies (just the website was misleading). When I asked about whether there was a full basketball court at EoS, he said no but then gave me some other gyms to check out, which I did and decided on Eos fitness due to its value.
They push their towel policy, which is kinda annoying bc you have to pay $1 to purchase one of you don't have one.
I really like Eos fitness, love their group classes, and think this membership is an awesome bargain.
