  • These guys gave me a quote of half the price of everybody else. After we used Elite Movers, three of my friends also decided to go with them for this very reason. Also, they are extremely efficient and cleaned out my one bedroom apartment in under an hour. However, we had several issues with these guys: 1) They don't wrap your furniture. They use pads instead that provide very minimal protection. They broke our crock pot and two of our large plastic bins, and there were chips on some of our furniture. 2) They promised they would arrive at 3 pm. I called them at 4 pm and they said oh, they were running late, they knew they told me 5 pm (?!) but they were being held up in their previous job and would be here at 6 pm. They ended up showing up at 6:30 pm. So, three and a half hours late from when they told me originally, and one and a half hour from the time that they had supposedly planned for. 3) They were going to help me move one piece of furniture to a neighbor who was going to buy it from me. When they arrived at 6:30 pm, they told me it was too late to do this, but that they would deliver the furniture on a later date for free. I arranged a later date with them. They never showed up. I called them multiple times on that date and left a message. They never picked up and never responded to my message. So basically, you get what you pay for.
