We visited this resort on a Saturday to take part in the Release Pool Party. I have to say it was a ton of fun! The hotel is really pretty with a good sized casino and buffet. There was a small section undergoing construction but it wasn't noisy or in the way. We received a room with a view of the side of the pool which worked out because we didn't have direct sunlight coming into the room. The decor was very clean and modern while being welcoming with really high ceilings and huge windows. The Bathroom was really great with a separate tub and shower, a waterfall shower head, double sinks and a pocket door. I love pocket doors! The room had a small fridge and a Keurig coffee maker. The only downside was that the beds were a little firm for my taste and the artwork in our room was of two, unsmiling native girls. The theme of the hotel is to showcase and respect the native tribes of that area but two frowning women staring at me in bed is not comforting.
The pool itself was clean and sparkling. The Cabanas were affordable and very comfortable with sectional seating under the canopy and a double chaise lounge under the sun with plenty of towels and a private television and small fridge. We received great service from our server (Britney?) She checked on us often and didn't let us wait too long for food and drinks. The atmosphere was super charged with really good DJ's on set. The first, DJ ShadowRed, had my friends and I dancing in the pool! Great choice of music for a party but definitely not out of control.
I recommend the hotel because it was clean and the pool for sure because it was a great party!
