| - 2 separate orders, 2 years apart. 1st order was a "special order" refrigerator and an oven, not sure how special it was, as we were told there were 50 orders ahead of ours. 8 weeks of waiting, with no information on delivery date "because it was coming from overseas and they had no way to track it" When we threatened taking our business elsewhere...SURPRISE, the refrigerator was available to be delivered the next day. The oven was "damaged" in the warehouse and wasn't immediately available.
2nd order was 2 months ago and was a simple dryer. Salesman told us it would be delivered in 2 days. Got a call with delivery time. Next morning, got another call saying it was "damaged" at the warehouse, and they would deliver the next day. Got a call with delivery time later that day. Next day, no delivery. I called the store and was told THERE WAS NEVER A DRYER!!! It was completely out of stock. So the salesperson LIED (we later found out that he was an electronics salesman ), and the warehouse LIED when they said it was damaged. Apparently that's what the warehouse does when the store screws up. It is the same thing that happened with the oven 2 years earlier. Manager did make up for it and upgraded my dryer, but when I sent him a follow-up email, that required a response, he never responded.
The final straw was when this electronics salesperson, who had no business selling appliances, told us that the $150 we were getting as rebates, were VISA cards. They are in fact HH Gregg gift cards that can only be used at their stores. (the previous purchase we received VISA cards).
The price may look right when you walk into the store, but the service is awful and we will never make a purchase from them again (well, other the the $150 credit that we are forced to use in their store)
