I had a party of 75+ people and the food truck that I hired cancelled less than two days to my event for mechanical issues! I was desperate to find another truck. Superfarm truck was available and I really had no choice but to use them. I had expressed my concerns about the bad reviews and the booking coordinator assured me that they truck was under new ownership and the service and food would be outstanding. I did question if they were so outstanding why would they be available but as stated, I really had no choice. The day of my event I got a call that they were broke down on the freeway. I was told not to worry they would make it. I did hear they moved mountains getting to my event borrowing another truck. I do appreciate the efforts of still trying to make it. They did arrive only over two hours late. Nobody from the truck bothered to find me and ask what I may need as a host to a very late truck. They also left without saying a word. I went to look for them to get more food and they were gone! It blew my mind that they would leave without closing out. Other than the fact that they did not communicate anything with me, the food was good. I was bothered that they had nothing to say to me either way but eventually they did show up and the food was good. Coordinator was very apologetic. It's possible I would use them again because they did right by showing up even with mechanical issues and food was good. But seriously, not letting the host know they were leaving? No apology for showing up over two hours late? Maybe I am asking too much, they are a food truck, not a customer service manager.
