  • We were planning on buying with Richmond American Homes and had an extremely terrible experience prior to even signing a contract. Misquoted things, very pressured to get items in that weren't even needed, miscommunication from all angles including their preferrred lender. This company is purely sales based and lacks the customer service and training of staff to deliver the right information. Felt like we weren't given an honest answer at all and it was all about what's best for the company. Would recommend steering clear of RA homes for new builds or spec homes.
