  • First of all I want to make it clear that I DO NOT WRITE REVIEWS, EVER. If I have a great experience somewhere I let it be known and I refer family and friends, I do not write reviews. Aside from that I have been to places that had horrific reviews but I had a great experience myself. I am writing this because I feel as if it's my duty to warn others with children or any loved ones. The staff was rude from the start. The maintenance people and office staff consistently ignore any greetings with a cold look. It's as if manners were something that would disqualify you from employment with this company. This is not my main concern as I have unfortunately become accustomed to people's lack of professionalism, manners, and respect. I will say on a positive note that Jacklynn (not sure of the spelling) has been great even after move in. Always able to help and never too busy to at least find a solution to any problem. So the reason I am writing this- Incident 1: I am a full-time (not a weekend warrior) single father of an awesome 2 year old daughter. My parking space is directly outside of my patio so it's the length of the patio+sidewalk to the car. Came home one evening from grocery shopping with my ill two year old and noticed her beloved "blankie" was missing. She's gives me the sad and sick look so I go out of the living room and to the car through the patio sliding door. I hear a door slam behind me as I'm closing the car door with blanket in hand. Two year old locks me out and I can see through the door my keys on the table. Two year old see her blanket in hand and freaks out. Begins crying so hard that she is making herself gag. I frantically call the front office in hopes that they are still open. Someone answers, thank God, or so I thought. I explain to whomever is on the phone the situation. I get a sigh followed by "bring your ID to the front office and we'll see if we can find you a spare key". Ma'am my wallet with my ID is sitting next to my keys on the kitchen table. She says oh well then we can't give you a key. Can you please send someone over with a key??? Please? As my daughter is now vomiting and screaming in the background. She says let me talk to my manager and see what we can do. At this point I realize she is useless and I call the police. They arrived short and were able to get the door open. So yeah she referred to the policy that requires an ID for a replacement key. However completely disregarded the emergency situation at hand. Resulting in me taking my daughter into the emergency room and wasting first responder/ police officer time with something that could have been handled by any staff member at the complex. And of course no one from the front office called me with a solution, guess the manager was busy. UPDATE: (This update has cut my original review short) Management has provided me a key believing it is a remedy to the issue. Although it is appreciated had the key been the issue I would have written a review months ago in regards to just the key. The issue falls on the individuals who answered both calls for assistance with zero regard for human life. No sense of professionalism or integrity. No follow up occurred in which I was told management would be able to help. It's possible the issue is training, however, it is more likely the problem is the individuals lack of care for others. Thanks for the key which took a review to get and is only a small contributing factor to the issue.
