| - We conducted some UX research at L&E and it was a great experience. The recruit was very smooth - they got us exactly who we needed for study participants. On site, they made us and our clients feel welcome and well taken care of. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. They have all the things you'd want at a facility: readily available coffee & snacks, nice lounge area, pass-through from the observation to the testing room, and good A/V capabilities.
But it's the little things that make the experience 5-star: the basket of toiletries and such for observers who may need them, setting up a table in the lounge for lunch & placing a sign on it indicating it was for food (so people didn't put their stuff on it), easy ordering process for lunch and lovely plating, readily available office supplies, and most notably: attentive and super-nice staff. Everyone was gracious and did everything they could to ensure we had everything we needed. Even the cookies in the participant waiting area were set out in a nice circle in alternating colors - that's attention to detail!
From the bid, to recruiting, to on-site, it was clear the entire staff takes pride in their work, which makes for a great experience.
The only weird thing, and this is probably out of their control, but... the building lobby smells like a Kimpton Hotel. They seem to be pumping in the same smell, ad nauseam. I learned to use the side-door to avoid the lobby. I didn't even gawk at the nice fish tank in the lobby, the smell was just too much.
