  • The melange of opinions might leave one thinking that Pacific East is inconsistent in its quality. Let me defend them by saying that 1) I've had quite a bit of sushi in my life, 2) I've had quite a bit of Pacific East sushi in the past four years, certainly 15+ times in the past four years. Without hesitation I recommend them to any sushi lover on the east side. Probably the best compliment I can pay it is that my wife, who is a sushi snob, sends me here whenever she wants a culinary treat. I've also had several of their stir fries and soups, and have never once been disappointed. The servers are attentive and have always kindly taken the time to answer our questions about ingredients, since wheat and sesame allergies exist in my family. Like others have mentioned, the menu is a bit overwhelming since they serve such a huge variety of food and the service can be slow at peak hours. But all together, 4.5 / 5 stars.
