I haven't been here in over 6 years but walking in, I remembered how much I love this place and despite my experience here recently, I still love it.
I wanted to review my latest visit because I want to emphasize how important customer service is to me. A friend and I went in and it was a little busy when we arrived; all the seats at the bar on the main side were taken so we sat on the opposite side (closer to the entrance) which was empty. The bartender approached us immediately and gave us a menu. We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay, a cheese board and asked for two glasses of water.
She brought the bottle of wine, poured allowed me to taste it and then poured two glasses, after my approval. She told us that the cheese board would be out momentarily but she didn't bring the water. After the cheese was delivered, I asked again for water, she brought them soon after however that was the last interaction we had from her until I asked for our bill.
When I brought her lack of customer service to her attention, instead of being apologetic, she wanted to tell me how she usually provides good customer service and how she was busy on the other side helping the customers over there. I thought it was very unprofessional that she would almost argue with me but never apologized. There was no excuse for not coming back to ask if we needed anything else or even to refill our water glasses; it was busy but there were many times over the hour and a half that we were there to check on us which she never did.
However, I'd also like to rate the product. Our bottle of Chardonnay (Bouchon-2014) was amazing and worth the price; the cheese board was fantastic as well.
