I've been here for dinner once. It was decent.
The other day I decided to try them for brunch. I've heard from a lot of people that their brunch is good. The place was certainly busy. The other people in my party got more brunch-y items like omelets and they all looked good.
I got two sides: a plantain and applewood-smoked bacon.
The plantain was meh.
The bacon was horrible. Absolutely horrible. It was as if they microwaved the bacon, over-cooking it so that there was no flavor and not a drop of grease on it. Another person at our table ordered bacon and his bacon was the same. There's no way I would have served bacon like that to guests in my home.
Radio Maria does not know how to cook bacon. And if they don't know how to cook bacon, one of the pillars of brunch, then I can't imagine that anything else would be worth trying.
