| - Located in a quiet part of Las Vegas with plenty of food options within walking distance. The halls and lobby are brightly lit, and the staff here are really friendly. There is a shuttle to the airport, Mandalay Bay, and Whole Foods. You can also walk to the outlet mall in 15 minutes, where there's 2 food courts and tons of independent restaurants (chipotle, smashburger, five guys, buffalo wild wings to name a few). I felt perfectly safe walking to and from the outlet mall at night by myself.
The breakfast at the Garden Inn is $11.95 (free if you're diamond) and comparable to the restaurant breakfasts at higher end Hiltons - cooked to order eggs, omelettes, fresh fruit, and coffee cake. The ladies who serve breakfast are also really nice and never rushed me even though I tend to work during breakfast. The only reason for taking away a star is because I felt that the sheets on my bed were a bit scratchy and worn (expected in an older property), and my shower faucet kept dripping no matter what I did.
Overall, this is my favorite Vegas property when I want some peace and quiet.
