I recently stayed here for eight days while I was working in the area and it was overall an enjoyable place to stay. It's not the place to go if you're looking for a romantic get-a-way but if you're working in the area or just going to be in-town for a game it's not a bad place. It seems to be popular with out-of-town Contractors (that's me!) and Tour bus drivers. For one weekend there were eight large tour buses parked out front which ate-up a lot of parking, thankfully their passengers stayed elsewhere Here are some Pro's and Con's:
Pros:
+Friendly staff
+Clean Rooms
+Large parking area; plenty of parking for larger vehicles
+'Secret' Pool table on the second floor
+Within walking distance to a couple of fast food places, one decent restaurant and a bar
+Quiet, no roadway noise
+My single bed room had a small fridge and a microwave.
+Decent continental breakfast in the morning
+Nice neighborhood park with walking paths just across the street
Cons:
+Property appears to be for sale (there's a For Sale sign in front of the property) and sort of has the feel that it's for sale as it's evident that the Hotel has not seen any upgrades in a while.
+Fitness room was filled with mostly broken equipment (treadmill with no working incline feature, exercise bike with no ability to adjust resistance, elliptical machine with steps which fell off).
+Indoor swimming pool, but the Jacuzzi has been removed.
+No laundry service despite laundry bags being supplied in rooms
+$1.50 in-room safe charge. Safe only accessible if you lay in the floor
+Carpets in rooms haven't been shampooed in a while
+Odd, small sized pillows on bed
+Breakfast hours should be extended to 10 on the weekends
+Noisy A/C and refrigerator
+Not near any major freeways (~10 Min drive to several area freeways)
