| - Recently received a menu through the mail for Thai Thai and thought I'd give them a try. Ordered carryout and arrived to see three couples seated throughout the dining area at 7 PM on a Saturday night. Carryout order was ready as promised and when opened at home food was hot.
Mrs. ordered soft shell crab fried rice ($16). Crab was fried in heavy batter and sliced, placed on top of fried rice, if that's what you'd like to call it. No scallion, searched to find evidence of an egg and fried so lightly, it's color was lighter than brown rice. I ordered fresh ginger entree and added beef as meat selection, heat level 3 ($10). Ingredients are ginger, mushroom, celery and onion. It did have ginger and onion, but instead had red and green pepper, broccoli and carrots. Beef slices were good. No hint of spiciness, small portion, came with side of white rice. Spring rolls were expertly fried and delicious.
Other reviews have mentioned orders were screwed up and to me that is the linchpin to a good restaurant. Sounds like dysfunctional kitchen. If dining, you may have your order corrected, carryout, not so much.
