If you care about your stuff and want to use a company that will take responsibility for destroying it, do not use this company.
Tell me if this isn't heartbreaking. My grandfather recently passed away in a tragic accident by falling off the roof of the house. My grandmother was alone and far away from her family in a quiet empty house. She decided to do a pretty stressful thing; pack up everything and move cross country. Although I protested and asked her to let me help her find a moving company, she wanted to use this one.
By the time the truck arrived in Indiana, she began to unload pieces of things. Pieces of things that were irreplaceable gifts from my grandfather and expensive art pieces. Even the driver commented he had never seen so much broken on one load. She was told to fill out a claim form by the company. She did so. FOUR MONTHS after this happened, they told her in order to file the claim, she was supposed to save all the packaging from the broken items for proof. Pictures aren't enough. Who would save packing materials for 4 months? Why was this not up front? So, bottom line: "sorry old lady, we broke your shit and we don't care to help you. Not our problem"
As much as my grandma wants to pursue getting this fixed, she feels defeated. A slew of things have happened during the move that were very stressful and she's cried enough tears. So the least I can do is write this review and hopefully deter others from using a company that will not right a wrong they are responsible for.
