I went in last Friday to cancel my membership because I hadn't used my membership that much so I didn't really want to pay for it anymore. I talked to one of the guys at the front desk and he helped me out. I paid all of what I owed them and he sent me a copy of my cancellation form. I thought everything was fine after that. Then Monday (today) rolls around and I have another $10 charge from Planet Fitness, which I didn't have the funds for. So on top of getting the false charge, I now had a $32 fee from my bank for a NSF charge that shouldn't have been there in the first place. After I found this out, I went back down to this location to get things straightened out. This is where the problems started. I ended up talking to the "Club Manager" Gabrielle about why I was charged again. She looked through her system saying that I was never charged and that she wanted to see proof. Also all during this she had the most piss poor attitude imaginable. I showed her that I had the NSF fee from the charge, but apparently that wasn't enough proof because she said that it didn't show how much was trying to be charged to me from Planet Fitness. She was basically turning this around and trying to make it my fault even though I had already canceled my membership. Luckily I was able to call my bank and they reversed the NSF fee and put a block on Planet Fitness from charging my account. Thanks Gabrielle for being the most useless manager that I have ever met. I will never be stepping foot in a Planet Fitness ever again.
