few people can compete with my chocolate apprecitation skills. i won't get into it here but i assure you i have supernatural chocolate tastebuds. i won't mess with any chocolate unless it meets certain criteria...most of which have to do with not being produced here. i have found a few domestic chocolatiers that i love but all in all i am a serious chocolate snob and prefer my chocolate to have a pedigree. so you can imagine my delight when i arrived at my office 2 weeks ago only to find a gold box on my desk filled with what appeared to be euro coco. underneath the card that lay across the box was the word Rubens. Hmm...wait a second, is this a trick? Why do people keep trying to force all this local Champaign stuff on me? True, i had always meant to try this stuff but somethign always stopped me. i knew it was made here in champaign by some belgian immigrants but i was always a bit skeptical of the operation. why would anyone from belgium with a long history of chocolate production move to champaign? well...once i put a luscious piece of this brown concoction in my mouth...i no longer cared. seriously, why do any of us move to champaign? none of this matters anymore. i now have a new best friend...
