The bagels are good but not mind-blowing. I can count on one hand how many bagels I've eaten in the last five years so obviously I'm not an authority on the matter, but I wouldn't drive more than a few kilometers for them. I purchased a half dozen for an upcoming road trip with three other people and sampled one today. I felt a bit less guilty eating it because of the way they are made (with love and fire) and everyone else is right in that you don't need to put anything on them because they actually have flavor.
I was half expecting a snazzy store but it's as plain as can be and there were only four kinds of bagels to choose from, which surprised me. The cash only situation is disappointing and thankfully I was prepared. It was refreshing to see that the bagels are not overpriced.
