| - I want to give this place more stars because my food was delicious but unfortunately my last two visits had terrible service. I am not one to complain, but they just made their second strike with me last night. My first time I got the oxtail loco moco and my boyfriend got the shrimp with the D1 goodness sauce. The loco moco came out in 10 minutes. It was super flavorful and came in a big portion. My boyfriend's shrimp came out 20 minutes later which makes the cooks or servers seem really inconsistent. Not only did he wait 20 more minutes, but the shrimp was cold, not cleaned properly, and the sauce was tasteless like some unsalted vegetable broth. Luckily, we got it off our check since we were dissatisfied. We came in last night and ordered the wings as our appetizer, the oxtail fried rice, and the braised pork belly. Our server asked us if we wanted to have the appetizer come out first or have it all come out at the same time as the entrees. We asked to have it come out first. After waiting, we both receive our entrees both from different servers for whatever reason. Our wings came out 10 minutes after the entrees which wasn't a big deal, but it made the server look bad. All the food was so delicious, but we noticed that our server just seemed to act like she wasn't even serving our table anymore which is funny because I don't know how hard it is to serve ONE table. She would walk by and avoid eye contact and we kept trying to get her attention by raising our hand and etc. We ended up having to ask other servers for a to go box and the check since we were waiting for almost 20 minutes to grab her attention but she was too busy talking to her friend/co-worker who was standing right near our table. Since the other servers didn't bring us what we needed my boyfriend stood up and acted like he was about to leave and she still didn't give two shits to the point where we could have dine and dashed. He had to basically ask her loudly for a to go box and the check since she started walking away from the area of our table after she was done talking to her friend then she asks us if we want dessert. Are you kidding? She is a fucking joke of a server. Serving is such an easy job especially if you only have ONE table. I don't like tipping badly because I'm a server myself, but she didn't deserve the normal 20%. I know she wasn't new because I've seen her before so she needs to be retrained or something.
