  • Friendly sales associates. The one associate we dealt with had a great eye for interior design and helped us make wise colour choices for our home. Standard service for a fine furniture store. A few months back, we purchased a Stickley sofa; a floor model at 40% off. The sofa was delivered to the house and looked great! That evening we were sitting on the sofa and started to notice small bites or hives on our arms and feet. We vacuumed and washed down the sofa; it was filthy beyond belief. I emailed the sales associate and included pictures of the filth - we received a standard apology. No offer of remediation whatsoever. We expected better service, but the service for us stopped after the sale went through. With that said, the gents who deliver the furniture are top-shelf. In the 3 or 4 times they've been to the house, they are very professional and pleasant to deal with. McArthurs claims to "exceed expectations and deliver a unique experience". We received a unique experience but our expectations were not exceeded. We will continue to shop at McArthur as they are the only Stickley dealer in Calgary. I recommend choosing your sales associates wisely and request professional cleaning if purchasing a floor model.
