| - The outdoor area is good for dogs, not sure how pleasant it will be when the summer heat arrives. They have a dog menu item. The wait staff is super friendly, were very enamoured with out cute small dog. We were there during happy hour on a weekday and it was not crowded, so it might be different later in the evening, but our dog was very quickly brought water by two different waitresses. One of them took several pics with her cell phone. Our food came quick, but later when the place was filling up I could see it was taking longer. Menu selection is pretty limited and lacking many German dishes one expects to see at a German restuarant in the U.S., like black forest anything (ham, cake). No studel. Just basically sausages. The cabbage soaked in a bit of vinegar is a far cry from sauerkraut, The music was not too loud, very easy to have a conversation across the table, there was no rap or disco, sort of a pop golden oldies mix. The beer selection was good. Recommend this place for relaxed atmosphere, an appetizer and a beer during happy hour, then move on for dinner...
