| - The WORST and MOST DISAPPOINTING experience I have ever received!
If you have the time to read this review, please do; it will give you the true details you need to know about this nail salon.
First off, I have been jumping around nail salons since I have moved here last year in January and I still have yet to find one that fits my standards. When I first started going to world nails about 5 months ago, their service was amazing and the location was perfect to where I was staying at the time.
However, I moved to the southwest area and went to different spots that were convenient to me, but all were subpar. As a result, I decided to go back to world nails, although a twenty minute from my house, I did not mind bc I was confident in their quality of services done. First time back since my move, the nail lady was very kind as I recalled and service was up to standards in my book; second time back, everything was still going well.
But, my third time back is why I'm doing this review and never going there again. I called for an appointment with TRACY for a gel refill. I got to the shop on time and Tracy greeted me and told me she remembered me etc. Nail appt was going okay, till I noticed my nail surface was uneven from the buffer tool she used; I told her my concern, and she says, "oh....it from before...they put tip on crooked." I look at her and say, "wasn't it you who did my nails last? But I'm not talking about the tip of my nail, I'm talking about the acrylic...the surface u buffed is uneven." So she finally fixes it after I slowly show her what I'm talking about.
As we get to the color applying portion of my appt, she applies the color but it looks transparent. I asked her if it will be darker if we do multiple coats, she says yes. So I take her word, and after 3 coats it's still transparent. I then Ask her for advice bc I like the color but it's so sheer even after she advised me to do three coats. Tracy then tells me, "I don know." I say, "well should we do a darker color of the same tone over it or...?". She then goes on to say, "choose different color." Hmm, ya, thanks Tracy for the professional opinion.
I'm kinda erked by now bc I told her I liked the color but I just wanted it darker; so To make things easier I choose a tan color instead of the white. Tracy then tries to apply the tan color ON TOP of the three white coats she had advised me to do. I pull my hand away and tell her my concern, she now says, "I don't have time." Livid, I tell her "what do you mean you don have time? If you don't have time then maybe you should find someone who has time. " Bc, evidentially, I had an appt with you and that is DEFINITELY not okay to tell you client. I should have walked out but bc I was pressed for time, I didn't.
To make the end of the story short, she also didn't have any basic silver rhinestones to do my nail design I wanted. I told her it was okay and she could just do something similar. Still, she advised me to do no design. I wouldn't have minded, but I told her my nails would be for my birthday so I wanted them done up; clearly she didn give a care or maybe she didn't understand. Idk but never again will I return. This place just wants to do quick service and only cares about the money; maybe not everyone, but Tracy forsure.
