  • Although I was initially skeptical of this place, I ended up enjoying and benefitting from the service very much. I will admit the experience was much different than what I have experienced at other "traditionally American" spas. For example, there are 3 beds in the massage room so multiple people can get massaged at the exact same time. In my opinion, this is quite odd and it is not something I am a fan of. Thankfully, only my cousin and I were in there at the same time but I imagine it might be quite awkward to be in there, without clothes, with strangers. Given, you are covered at all times, but still odd. I had the 70-minute Kung-Fu Hot Stone Full Body Massage with Lavender Bubble Tea Foot Spa. The massage was delightful...very calming and relaxing (with the exception of when the masseuse worked out a knot I had in my back, which I am grateful for!). enjoyed the generous application of massage gel/oil/lotion and the hot stones made for a nice treat. The foot spa portion was just ok...it basically consisted of soaking my feet in a bucket filled with warm water for about half an hour. The bucket was heavily textured in the shape of "bubbles" at the bottom, which I guess was the "bubble tea" part of it. While I did expect and had hoped for more, the warm water surrounding my feet was nice. The staff was friendly overall (with the exception of when my cousin and I were quite literally shushed so be sure to speak only in whispers, if at all). What was most interesting, though, was the fact that they literally ask for a tip of at least $15. They do this by handing you your pre-service questionnaire and then asking you to fill out the back portion, which consists of one question asking how much tip you will leave and the lowest option is $15. I would advise the business to take this out of their process and simply allow clients to tip on their own.
