| - I've visited this salon twice recently because I wanted to give it a fair chance before writing a review. Appointments were made days in advance for both visits. I visited the first time with my sister to get pedicures. Upon arrival, the technicians seemed to have forgotten about the scheduled appointment. Only one came to our service, doubling the time we planned to spend there and defeating the purpose of getting pedicures together. The price we were charged was much more expensive given over the phone, and more than I've been charged at any other salon for the same services. Overall, the prices were outrageous for the quality of service and time spent waiting.
The second visit, I purchased a groupon for two manicures as a gift and visited with my friend. Again, appointment made days in advance, and groupon mentioned over the phone. Only one of us was helped at a time, so we were at the salon for an hour and a half. The salon was very busy and the first tech was blatantly tired and rude. She did not ask my friend what shape she wanted her nails and did not clean the excess gel polish afterwards. The tech who did my nails was very friendly and did a beautiful job, but didn't start on me until 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment. Multiple customers came in while we were being helped, and the understaffed salon continued to accept walk-ins. The owner of the salon was difficult when I used the groupon, claiming that they made less than half of the cost and urged us not to purchase again.
I will not be returning to this nail salon because of the consistently long wait/service times and overpriced services for quality of work.
