  • So So donuts. Most of the varieties are too complicated. Donuts should be donuts and candy should be candy - putting an entire candy bar on top of a donut is unappealing. Just give me a quality donut. Further, one of these donuts is a gut bomb. I was mystified watching people in line buying a dozen of these donuts at a time. These suckers lay heavy on the chest. There were only 4 people in the line ahead of us... but even this wait was too long given the ho hum culinary experience. I'm not sure why anybody would stand in a long line for these donuts. Nothing like the fresh hot donuts of my youth from Greenbush at bar time. Hurt's seems a bit like Sonic when it opened in Middleton. Lines of cars all throughout the neighborhood. Long lines - now much to do about nothing.
