Bosa is decent doughnut shop delivering solid doughnuts but don't expect to be blown away. I live across the street so whenever I feel the need for a doughnut (once a month), I stop in and grab two doughnuts to go. I've never tried their coffee as I am not a coffee drinker really. Their smoothies are made from a powered mix so I'll never try one of those either.
It's a doughnut shop so that's what I stick with. The raised doughnuts are nice and soft but don't have much flavour. What you taste is whatever sugary/flavoured decoration is on it. I stick with the sugar raised; that's my favourite I think. The doughnuts with chocolate and strawberry frosting on them taste very artificial so if that's what you're in the mood for get that. The Boston cream is OK. I've stopped getting it because I couldn't get over the artificial flavour in the chocolate frosting. The plain cake doughnut a tad salty but it's one that I get often since it's not sugary and I like that.
I tried one of their old fashioned donuts for the first time today with chocolate frosting. It was crisp outside and fluffy inside though the frosting made it quite sweet it wasn't bad. I'll try the glazed old fashioned next time. The glazed donuts are nice: soft and sweet! I do wish they sold French crullers though. They have other "fancy" doughnuts too but I've never gotten any of those. Bottom line if you have a doughnut craving and you're near Bosa, stop in; it's enough to satisfy.
