| - I'll start off with this: Bake Code has innovative, unique treats, but they come at a high price point. This spacious bakery has a nice selection of sweets, breads, and tea. It's located on Yonge and close to a subway, so it's quite accessible (not wheelchair accessible though). I tried the peanut butter croissant, salted egg yolk croissant, and tofu cheesecake. I highly recommend the croissants; they are deliciously flakey and have plenty of fillings. Absolutely delicious. However, I didn't enjoy the tofu cheesecake... It had the texture of a regular cheesecake, but had an interesting aftertaste (probably because of the tofu). Considering the price, I won't get the tofu cheesecake again, but I'll definitely be back for the croissants. Bake Code also has a seating area, and friendly staff. Overall: a great first impression.
