It's a beautiful theater! But paying extra for good seats is worth it. I was miserable in the upper deck. It was a sold out show and I got what I could get but it was hot as Hell the entire time. Everybody around us kept saying how hot it was. For 75 minutes I was dying a slow death. At least they sell drinks and snacks at concessions on each floor.
As nice as the performances are I'm 6'4" and 240 pounds and those chairs are so narrow my elbows are already past the arm rests. So people sitting next to me were squished worse than on an economy class flight. My shoes touch the rail in front and every time someone goes to the bathroom or whatever I have to stand up. There's no twisting your knees to the side to let people through. My legs were so cramped they started shaking half way through the performance.
I'll be back but only if I can spring for tickets on the main or 2nd levels (orchestra, mezzanine or the box seats on the sides). Upper levels 3 and 4 are a no fly zone.
