I really like the taste of their coffee, but I realize that my view is a bit tainted because I really only ever order sugary, specialty drinks here. So I guess I can't go around saying that their coffee is superior to that of other places.
My visits to Caribou are punctuated in the wintertime with minty lattes that remind me of Christmas, and in the summertime by vanilla coolers. I also throw in a tea latte or two (the caramel earl grey is really good) here and there.
What makes this location stand out to me is the service. Each time I have been inside, someone has very nicely greeted me and asked me if I needed any questions answered. They didn't pressure me to order right away.
Another thing I found out today was their flexibility in making the special drinks: while most places can usually put a hot drink on ice, these guys can do that OR blend it so that it's like a frappe. This just creates so many more options!
...But did I try a new drink today? Nah. Just a vanilla cooler. But it was damn good.
