My husband and I have driven by this restaurant so many times and never went in until last week. We wanted to give it a try since it is near a lot of our other favorite restaurants in Tempe Marketplace.
When we walked in on a Saturday night it was not too busy which surprised us a little. We did notice they have a private dining room. And that was not in use. I would say it was about 60% at occupancy. The patios were totally empty but it is still 100 degrees or warmer still.
We were given a large booth that was way too big for just two of us so we asked for something smaller. We were approached fairly quickly. Our drink orders were taken and for me drinking water it was not easy to get refills as much as I wanted. That was the only bad thing about the meal.
We got lots of bread and butter. That was nice. I ordered the Fish and Chips and they good. Not great, not terrible. Nothing new and exciting. The fish was great underneath the breading. It was a bit mushy and next time I would order it crispy. My husband had the cajun dish which he liked and had lots of flavor.
The ambiance was nice. Service was goof. Some food things could have been better. If you like fish try this place.
