  • Location on Flamingo. Stood in line for one hour to check in, only to be told there would be an 11 hour wait. How does that work you may ask? They take your cell number and text you every half hour notifying you of your status in line. (There were over 700 people ahead of us). So you are able to leave, do errands, go to lunch, etc., but, if you don't receive a notification before the doors close at 5pm you must return to the DMV before they lock the doors and continue to wait your turn. We finally got out of there at 7pm and they still had 200+ people waiting. All this to register a car which had to be done in person. The clerk told us that they were working until 10pm the night before. What a mess.
