I recently purchased a car from the dealer and within the contract they were to fix chips in the paint. The repair looks terrible. I took my 2010 Camaro SS to the dealership to have the chips in the paint repaired at the dealers expense. They touched up the paint chips but they were not done to my satisfaction and actually look terrible. When purchasing the car the salesman Travis Holmes had written down chips to be touched up no paint. I questioned this and said i do not agree to the verbage because what if the repairs need actual paint and he reessured me that it would be taken care of and that he would handle it. Well the repairs were done and they look terrible. I was very upset and they said that was how chips are repaired and it looks like he just dabbed paint on the car. I said i was not satisfied and the painter said that if it was his car he wouldnt paint it because of how difficult it is to match the colors and that the repair would cost $300. I said the cost is on the dealership not my cost they said they would fix it. They offered to pay half which i said that i was not willing to pay and that i dont trust the painters work and that im not paying for it. The manager Matt Huffman said he would only cover half since im not satisfied and i still said that wasnt good enough. He then stated that they fulfilled their obligation and that was all they would do for me.
